Our three highlights for the first part of this week are this amazing and fun primitive style painting on Japanese newspaper. We used a matting that allowed us to hinge and float the paper on a black mat and use a second mat with an orange core to add and pull color to and of the painting.

We used a white floater frame with heavy wood grain to give the blue midcentury inspired serigraph (which is really a fancy term for silkscreen printing) a clean line and timeless finish.

And for the oversized acrylic painting by Barry Johnson we decided on a big beveled walnut frame to play on the chevrons and natural movement.

All three pieces have been designed and framed here in our San Francisco frame shops. We are open every day from 11am - 5pm. No appointment necessary, we follow all state and local Covid 19 guidelines.
