When you bring us your art we always look at the whole picture to design and find the right custom picture fame for you. Contrast, tone and color play a big role in that process and many times the subtleness of the design brings out the strengths of your photo, painting, print or canvas to frame.

Whitewash maple frames can tend to go a bit pink. We took full advantage of that tone with this @antonconnollyart piece. It keeps that clean white frame feel but adds more warmth and interest.

For that stunning photo portrait we used a black mat to allow the highlight points to pop and a greywash Ash frame to pull on the tone.

Underglass Custom Picture Framing is framing since 1982. Our expert custom picture framers are here in San Francisco for you from 11am to 5pm daily. Please wear your mask if you are not fully vaccinated; we appreciate it.
