The New Year started out with finishing this complex framing project for our Local 38.
We handsewed these beautiful antique handmade banners on fabric mats and built three walnut shadowbox frames to give them a new housing. The custom frames are 5, 6 and 7 foot tall!
These banners hung for decades in their old Union Hall here in San Francisco and now that they’re moving they want to honor their past by protecting them for decades to come!
This framing project made us realize once again that it is really rewarding to be a part of a great community as picture framers here in San Francisco. We have been framing in this city for decades now and we are looking forward to seeing all your art items you bring us in 2022 for framing.
