Framing Art With Context To History

When framing your art that has context to history you have a lot of choices. At Underglass Custom Picture Framing here in San Francisco, we always try to find out what our client’s personal taste is and go from there.

For this minimalist acrylic on paper by artist Chris Coleman our client had the choice between a gallery style approach for the minimalist aspect or a more elaborate frame design with elements of texture. For our clien’t personal taste they chose a carved dark wood frame and elevated the piece with a top fabric mat and a bottom black mat.
