Sunflowers are so amazing and we loved building a shadowbox for this vintage sunflower school chart form Germany. The print was originally mounted on canvas so it wouldn’t crease from rolling it up and down. The colors are all still like new and vibrant. We wanted it to remain just like it was made originally so we mounted the piece in a 2 inch deep shadowbox on a fabric mat and used a conservation acrylic.
If you are bothered by the reflection you could always upgrade to a museum acrylic that cuts out most of the glare and offers UV protection too. This scroll is from 1958 and with our museum quality framing techniques and conservation acrylic it will last many, many more generations!
