Framing a vintage woodblock print

Who doesn’t love some nostalgia! The bygone era of East German socialist heroic worker poses: In 1963/64, artist Juergen Wittdorf created a series of subtle homoerotic scenes that didn’t even bother the general audiences back then.

Framing this woodblock print, our client followed the black and white simplicity and went with an 8 ply mat for depth and a black satin finish frame with a bevel that catches and reflects some light.
