Framing A French Painting Print Louvre Style

We wanted to frame this French Painting Print Louvre Style because our client got this art print in Paris at the Louvre. This beautiful 1757 print by French painter Joseph Vernet is now ready for its new home. A detailed golden ornate frame with a fine off white fabric mat and a gold fillet seemed to be a proper fit for the art and our client’s style idea. At Underglass Custom Framing in San Francisco we care about your art, so we like to use museum quality materials and added an Optium acrylic glazing to protect the colors from fading, to cut out most of the annoying glaring reflections so often found when you hang your art across windows.
