Bold frames for bold art - Underglass is just that for art framing, if you want it!

When our clients want to be creative with us we will just do that. Art framing can be so much fun! It all started with this amazing “Salvator Mundi” by @vonwolfe filled with vibrant color and strong visual expression. When we tried out the over the top looking balls frame our client knew right away it would be the perfect fit for this piece in her home. We added an archival brighcore black on yellow mat and left a nice margin for the black mat to give space between the spectacular frame and the attention demanding art.

The limited edition print #36/103 is printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag. It is extremely beautiful when you see the print in person. As always at Underglass Custom Picture Framing in San Francisco we only use conservation materials, like acid-free and lignin-free alpha cellulose mats that are fade and bleed resistant and glazing that protects from uv. Here we used Optium Museum Acrylic, that also cuts out most of the irritating glare and is scratch resistant. Because we are in an Earthquake area, we think acrylic is the best option for your art.
