Art Framing With Color

Framing your art with color: For these two collages we guided our client in their choice of color and instead of choosing one color for both frames we found the perfect color for each piece of art that works on both pieces. The result is a red ornate frame combined with a blue suede mat that creates contrast with the art. The second piece picks up on the blue in the tea cup and we chose a light beige fabric mat that works really well with the green and provides a nice overall contrast. Both frames are tied together by using the same walnut fillet ( the small frame stacked under the colored frame).
