Canvas stretching and framing at Underglass

Canvas stretching and framing is one of our art framing services here at Underglass Custom Picture Framing in San Francisco.

This canvas painting is intense and fun at the same time. We stretched and framed Oakland artist @amandajoybrown ’s NYE, 2021 in contemporary fashion. We wanted to be able to see the paint drips on the sides of the canvas, so we used a floater frame with a gap between art and frame.   We love the texture from the paint on the canvas surface and how it works with a similar texture on the frame sides and really like the tones of the cool silver worn look. This piece is ready for our client’s wall!
