We used an ebonized walnut frame to keep with the black on black look but pull on the warmth in this Rex Ray artist proof print. Rex Ray was a SF based graphic designer and collage artist with a strong midcentury style. He graduated from SFAI ( San Francisco Art Institute ) and his work is in museums including the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the San Jose Museum of Art, and the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
