When you bring us your art to frame, we always draw inspiration for the framing from what you bring us. So we landed at this scoop profile, rust and gold frame. Here is why:
The print is numbered 55/100, pencil signed by Mexican artist Leticia Tarragó. Her work fits somewhere between the whimsical and the dreamlike, with an earthy palette that pulls you in quietly. The rust and gold of the scoop profile frame picks up those tones directly: a weathered finish with gold shimmering through at the rubbed edges, the kind of frame that has warmth and character to it without trying too hard. Once we held it next to the print it was clear it was the right call.

The mat: 8-ply vellum
We went with an 8-ply vellum mat, and gave the print a generous margin of white space and real physical depth. Eight-ply matting is twice the thickness of a standard mat and it makes a noticeable difference. The print sits further back, the shadow line around it is more pronounced, and the whole piece has a presence on the wall that a thinner mat simply cannot achieve.
The vellum color keeps everything clean and neutral so the warm tones of the print and the frame do the work without any interference from the mat.

The glazing: museum glass
We finished the piece with museum glass, 99% UV filtered and with an anti-reflective coating that reduces glare to almost nothing. Up close it genuinely looks like there is no glass there at all, which is exactly what you want when the art has this much detail and color in it.
UV protection matters for any work on paper displayed under light. Colors shift gradually and paper yellows over time without it, and by the time you notice the damage it is already done. Museum glass stops that.
