Framing San Francisco Since 1985

Our founders, Matthias and Eric, each bring a unique perspective to the world of framing. Matthias, originally from Germany, is a passionate photographer who honed his craft at the San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI). He’s been a part of San Francisco’s vibrant art scene since 1994.

Eric, a proud Michigander, entered the art world through fashion design. His love for pop culture and Motown influences his design sensibilities, blending modern and classic styles. Together, we’ve cultivated a space where creativity thrives, and where we can help you bring your vision to life.

When we’re not in the shop, you can find us volunteering with animal rescues or spending time with our rescue dog and chickens. We believe in giving back to the community that’s given us so much. We also love exploring San Francisco’s galleries and museums and are constantly seeking new inspiration.

We’re here to make sure your artwork gets the frame it deserves, with the care and attention that comes from decades of passion and experience.
